ओडिशा दिवस, जिसे उत्कल दिवस के नाम से भी जाना जाता हैं। 1st अप्रैल को भारतीय राज्य ओडिशा को मद्रास प्रेसीडेंसी से कोरापुट और गंजम के अलावा बिहार और उड़ीसा प्रांत से अलग राज्य के रूप में निर्मित किया गया। 01 अप्रैल 1936 को इस राज्य के गठन को स्मृति के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

Odisha Day, also called Utkala Dibasa, is Celebrated on 1st April in the Indian state of Odisha in memory of the formation of the state as a separate state out of Bihar and Orissa Province with addition of Koraput and Ganjam from the Madras Presidency on 1st April 1936.
