Instructions :
The figures in the margin indicate full marks.
Candidates are required to give their answers in their own words as far as practicable.
Answer eight questions, selecting three each from Section - I and Section-II, and two from Section - III.
Parts of the same question must be answered together and must not be interposed between answers to other questions.

परीक्षार्थी यथासम्भव अपने शब्दों में ही उत्तर दें।
खण्ड-1 एवं खण्ड- II प्रत्येक में से तीन प्रश्न तथा खण्ड-III से दो प्रश्नों का चयन करते हुए कुल आठ प्रश्नों के उत्तर दें।
एक ही प्रश्न के विभिन्न भागों के उत्तर अनिवार्य रूप से एक साथ ही लिखे जाएँ तथा उनके बीच में अन्य प्रश्नों के उत्तर न लिखे जाएँ।

खण्ड-I

भारतीय संविधान का सिद्धान्त एवं व्यवहार में, दर्शन – देश में शासन के कार्य संचालन के उदाहरणों के साथ, इसको स्पष्ट कीजिए।
2. Aims, objects and working of the United Progressive Alliance Democratic and the National Alliance in India-Evaluate them, with special reference to the national interest and national power.
भारत में संयुक्त प्रगतिशील गठबंधन तथा राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन के लक्ष्य, उद्देश्य एवं कार्यशैली — उनका मूल्यांकन, विशेष रूप से, राष्ट्रीय हित एवं राष्ट्रीय शक्ति के सन्दर्भ में, कीजिए ।
3. Judicial activism and independence of judiciary in India with examples-Examine critically.
भारत में न्यायिक सक्रियता एवं न्यायपालिका की स्वतंत्रता उदाहरणों के साथ-आलोचनात्मक दृष्टि से परीक्षण कीजिए।
4. Analyze the Democratic Decentralization in India and the role of 73rd and 74th Constitutional Amendments in it, with examples specially from Bihar.
भारत में लोकतांत्रिक विकेन्द्रीकरण और उसमें 73वें एवं 74वें संवैधानिक संशोधनों की, विशेष रूप से, बिहार से उदाहरण सहित भूमिका को विश्लेषित कीजिए।

भारत के विभिन्न भागों में संगीत एवं नृत्यों में उनकी अपनी विशिष्ट प्रादेशिक पहचान क्यों है?
6. What is the role of large-scale industries in the economic development of India?
भारत के आर्थिक विकास में बृहत् पैमाने के उद्योगों की क्या भूमिका है?
7. Which sector needs planning to increase per capita income in Bihar? Discuss.
बिहार में प्रति व्यक्ति आय बढ़ाने के लिए किस प्रक्षेत्र को नियोजित करने की आवश्यकता है? विवेचना कीजिए।
8. Present a suitable development plan for Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste regions of Bihar.
बिहार के अनुसूचित जनजाति एवं अनुसूचित जाति प्रदेशों के लिए एक उपयुक्त विकास योजना प्रस्तुत कीजिए।

9. What are the challenges faced by technology in the modern era in reference to advancement of Indian agriculture? Enumerate the recent innovation in the field of agriculture in India.
आधुनिक युग में भारतीय कृषि की उन्नति के लिए तकनीक को किन-किन चुनौतियों का सामना करना है? भारत में कृषि के क्षेत्र में ताजा नवाचार का विस्तृत विवरण दीजिए।
10. Write a note on the importance of teaching science and technology in early education levels in an emerging economy.
प्रारंभिक शिक्षा स्तर पर, उभरती इकोनॉमी के लिए विज्ञान तथा तकनीक की शिक्षा के महत्त्व पर एक टिप्पणी लिखिए।
11. Describe in detail the role of science and technology in the possibility of eradicating poverty and unemployment.
विज्ञान एवं तकनीक का गरीबी तथा बेरोजगारी उन्मूलन की संभावना पर क्या योगदान है, विस्तार से वर्णन कीजिए।
12. Write a note on technology-driven modernization of Bihar elaborating the necessary challenges, public impact, feasibility and management, etc.
बिहार के लिए तकनीक चालित आधुनिकीकरण पर एक टिप्पणी लिखिए, जिसमें विस्तारपूर्वक आवश्यक चुनौतियों, जन-प्रभाव, संभाव्यता तथा प्रबंधन इत्यादि पर प्रकाश डाला गया हो।
